What Providence Falls Means For Hallmark Media
The Storyline Is Somewhat Of A Deviation From The Usual On Hallmark
Providence Fallsfollows a 19th-century Irish thief named Liam, who falls for Cora, an aristocrat’s daughter who is promised to another man. They plan to escape to America; however, after a rippling time travel effect, the Angels of Destiny send Liam to present-day Oregon, where Cora is now a cop and he’s her new partner. She doesn’t remember him, but as they work on a major case together,Liam hopes to rekindle what the two once had in their old life.
The three-part series combines the classic Hallmark romance genre with elements such as time travel and mystery. It’s somewhat of a deviation from the usual small-town love stories that the network usually airs, proving they’re ready to take creative risks while still delivering on the emotional depth and feel-good charm viewers have grown to love. By bringing to life a popular book trilogy,Hallmark is aiming to position itself as more than just the home for holiday movies, but where viewers can watch feel-good content all year round.
Our Take On The New Hallmark Series Providence Falls
The Perfect Summer Watch
Providence Fallshits all the right points that should make it a classic Hallmark hit. The heartfelt romance, along with the addition of fantasy, mystery, and some historical drama,is an added twist that setsProvidence Fallsapart from the rest of Hallmark’s library of work. The combination of past and present-day romance gives the series a lot of emotional weight, while the central love triangle keeps the story interesting.
It is definitely somewhat different from the usual Hallmark movie or series, but that’s a good thing. However,Providence Fallsstill follows the typical romance tropes Hallmark has made so popular for decades. If you’re into heartfelt drama with a touch of fantasy,Providence Fallscould be worth the watch this summer.
