PlayStation Plus’ free games offering has been fantastic in recent months, offering critically acclaimed titles such asBatman: Arkham Knight,Detroit: Become Human, and this month’sMLB The Show 19andThe Last of Us Remastered. With that said, considering that PS3 and Vita games were removed, they kind of have to be.
As the next generation of consoles looms closer, it’s important that PlayStation continues to keep fans invested in their platform and services, making sure that both PS Plus andthe restructured PS Noware worth the cost. One way to do that is to continue the trend of amazing games being offered and we’ve got more than a few on our PS Plus wishlist for November!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
CD Projekt Red’sThe Witcher 3: Wild Huntis a game that needs no introduction. Based on a well known book series, and soon tobe a Netflix original show,The Witcher 3: Wild Huntis widely considered as one of the best open-world RPGs in existence having unanimously won ‘Game of the Year’ for 2015 - it’s a lesson in how to create a compelling narrative, powerful characters, and side missions that have a real purpose in the larger world.
The Witcher 3is finally available on Nintendo Switch as of today - October 15, almost four and a half years after it’s initial release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Releasing the base game as a free PS Plus title would be a great way to introduce new fans to the series who may then go on to buy the DLC, prepare for CD Projekt Red’snext game,Cyberpunk 2077which is due to release next April, and compete against Nintendo for players attention and playtime.

The Witcher 3: Wild Huntis available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
MachineGames reboot of theWolfensteinseries has been fantastic, to say the least. What began with 2014’sWolfenstein: The New Orderwas only improved with its sequel,Wolfenstein: The New Colossus. Set in an alternate timeline where the Nazis won WWII, players take on the role of B.J. Blazkowicz in an effort to overthrow the regime, praised for its narrative, characters, and gameplay.
Whether it’sThe New OrderorThe New Colossus, none of the newerWolfensteingames have ever been released on PS Plus, not even the standalone spin-offThe Old Blood- which, considering the success of other similar games likeInfamous: Last Light, is quite strange. And this year’sWolfenstein: Youngbloodreleased to middling reviews, leaving fans of the series cravinga worthy successorto 2017’sWolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossusis available now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Alien: Isolation
When deciding onthe best horror games of all time, it’s hard not to includeAlien: Isolation. Following the negative response to Aliens: Colonial Marines, Creative Assembly looked at the original film for inspiration over James Cameron’s more action-focused sequel,Aliens, creating a beautifully tense and claustrophobic first-person survival-horror game; a game of cat and mouse with a Xenomorph.
Just likeThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, PlayStation releasingAlien: Isolationas a free game on PS Plus would be a great way to compete with Nintendo as it’s due to release on Switch before the end of the year. As the possibility ofa sequel toAlien: Isolationcontinues to look increasingly unlikely, getting the game into more players' hands around Halloween, and following the dismalAlien: Blackout, is a must.

Alien: Isolationis available now on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Mac, and Linux. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in development.

Titanfall 2
Respawn Entertainment has made quite a name for themselves over the past year. TheirTitanfallthemed battle royale,Apex: Legendscontinues to find great success, the release ofStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderis exactly one month away, and it was just announced that the team isdeveloping aMedal of Honorgamefor VR.
Titanfallis where Respawn Entertainment built its name and there’s no game as underrated as the brilliant,Titanfall 2,a game that never got the chance it deserved due to a rough release date that had the game wedged between a newBattlefieldandCall of Duty. In short:Titanfall 2and its fantastic campaign absolutely deserve another shot in the sunlight and PS Plus could be the way to do it. What better way to ramp of sales on asingle-playerStar Warsgamethan showing players what the team is really capable of.
Titanfall 2is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
With the launch of the PlayStation 5 on the horizon and a relatively quiet year for PlayStation after abandoning E3, Sony needs to put in the hard yard and make sure they’re hitting on all cylinders for the sake of the brand - particularly afterthe loss of Shawn Layden, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Chairman for Worldwide Studios.
Revamping PlayStation Now to compete with Xbox Games Pass and adding somehuge new titles to the ‘Hits Collection’such asGod of Warare smart moves in the right direction. Continuing to demonstrate why PlayStation is number one and why players need their service is a must right now, and great PS Plus games every month should be a top priority.
