Netflixunveils first images and a release date for an R-rated animated movie saved from Warner Bros. The movie, titledFixed, had itsdistribution rights returned to Sony Pictures Animationafter Warner Bros. removed it from its slate last year as part of the studio’s effort to shift away from animation.Fixedwas also the second animated movie following theshelving ofCoyote Vs. Netflixnow shares first-look images and confirmed thatFixedwill come to the streaming platform on August 13. The 2-D animated movie from five-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Genndy Tartakovsky stars Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect), Idris Elba (Sonic the Hedgehog 3), and Kathryn Hahn (Agatha All Along) in a story about a quick-witted dog who discovers that he’s about to be neutered and decides to go on one last adventure before the procedure.
