Perfect World and Gunfire Games are making one final push to get gamers to check outRemnant: From the Ashes. Thursday saw the release ofSubject 2923, the latest and final DLC forRemnant. It’s also the largest DLC release yet, in comparison toRemnant’s first DLC,Swamp of Corsus.Subject 2923can be purchased across PC, PS4, and Xbox One for $9.99
InSubject 2923,Remnantplayers will receive a ton of awesome new content. That includes two completely new zones to explore, each filled with quests, bosses, and rewards. Rewards will include new trinkets,awesome weapons, modifications, and full armor sets. There’s will also be new cosmetic skins, as well. The new zones will be an abandoned military base on Earth and the mountainous world of Reisum.

The newRemnantDLC isn’t just filler content, either. It’s a full story campaign building off of the base game and previous DLC. InSubject 2923players will investigate the origin ofRemnant’s “Dreamers.” The Dreamer is a major character inRemnantand the nature of its being has drastic ramifications for the game’s universe. It’s also, coincidentally, heavily tied into another of Gunfire’s games, namedChronos. The mystery of the Dreamer and others like them is perhapsRemnant’s biggest secret.
The timing ofSubject 2923’s release is no coincidence. The game has just spent a week available as afree game on the Epic Games Store. Thousands of new players are checking out the game, and now they have two DLC packs to check out should they want more. For those who missed the free availability, the Complete Edition ofRemnantis on sale on Steam for $40 and includes the base game and both DLCs.
