Sung Jinwoo fromSolo Levelingis one of the most popular modern anime characters, renowned for his incredible strength and seemingly limitless growth. Since the anime’s debut, fans have propelled the series to international fame, placing its protagonist on an untouchable pedestal. Many consider him unbeatable among other anime characters due to his godlike abilities and army of shadow soldiers.
However, fans unfamiliar withSailor Moonmight be surprised to learn that the Pretty Guardian has a final form capable of defeating most anime characters, if not all. On the surface, Sailor Moon may not seem like a god-tier figure, but by the end of her story, she makes god-like power look small.

Sung Jinwoo Is Among the Most Powerful Anime Characters
Jinwoo Quickly Rose Through the Ranks as the Shadow Monarch
Starting as one of the weakest hunters andrising to become the Shadow Monarchis one of the most dramatic shifts and power evolutions in anime. Jinwoo’s physical abilities alone make him a terrifying force. His strength allows him to take down monsters and elite hunters with his bare hands, and his speed makes him invisible to the naked eye.
His signature ability, Shadow Extraction, lets him resurrect fallen enemies as loyal shadow soldiers, effectively building an undead army. Jinwoo eventually raises millions of shadows, all of which are essentially immortal and can be recalled or summoned at will, including powerful generals like Beru and Igris. Through these shadow soldiers, Jinwoo becomes a one-man army.

His expanding abilities include Shadow Exchange and Shadow Storage. These techniques allow him to instantly swap positions with any of his soldiers and conceal weapons and gear. As a result, his shadow army can serve as escape routes, ambush spots, and guarantee he always has access to necessary weapons and equipment, ensuring he’s never caught off guard in battle.
By the end ofSolo Leveling,he gains an ability called the Territory of Eternal Rest. This realm is under his complete control, and he determines everything that happens within it. At this point, he gains powers of regeneration, unaffected by time, and existence erasure, giving him overwhelming dominance within it, similar to a god in his own realm.

Sailor Moon’s Powers Become Just as Impressive
Sailor Moon’s Final Incarnation Is a God
At first glance,Sailor Moon appears to be an ordinary magical girl, but her abilities quickly surpass simple transformation sequences or purification attacks. From her earliest battles, she possesses teleportation, flight, healing, and energy projection, all of which are enhanced by the Silver Crystal. As she grows, her power grows stronger, turning her into a cosmic force.
With each new form of Super Sailor Moon and Eternal Sailor Moon, she begins to wield powers capable of destroying enemies on a planetary scale. Her defensive and healing abilities become nearly unmatched, allowing her to protect, restore, and purify entire worlds corrupted by chaos and darkness. She gains powers of time travel, soul manipulation, and even resurrection.

Sailor Moon’s soul is incorruptible, and her high-level resistance makes her nearly impossible to defeat. By the time she reaches her final incarnation as Sailor Cosmos after inheriting the power of the Cosmos Crystal, she becomes a being that exists outside linear time, with awareness across multiple timelines and the ability to move freely between them.
Sailor Cosmos has the power to erase or rewrite entire timelines, giving her nearly limitless abilities. In this final form, Sailor Moon controls time, space, life, and death, with the power to even regenerate from nothingness. As a result, Sailor Moon becomes a figure capable of reshaping the very fabric of reality.

Jinwoo and Sailor Moon Share Similar Abilities
Both Jinwoo and Sailor Moon Are Frighteningly Powerful
Despite coming from two entirely different genres,Sung Jinwoo and Sailor Moon ultimately gain powers that place them in a similar league well beyond most anime characters. Both gain reality-bending abilities, near-immortality, and control over powerful forces. While Jinwoo rises through combat and leveling up, Sailor Moon grows through hope and experience, leading them to a god-like status.
Among their similar abilities is the power to erase, yet they cannot be completely erased themselves. While Jinwoo is resistant to erasure, a power that comes from his role as the Shadow Monarch and his mastery over death itself, Sailor Cosmos resists erasure by demonstrating the ability to regenerate from nothingness itself, making both characters incredibly difficult to defeat.

Similarly, Jinwoo’s Territory of Eternal Rest is a realm where he dictates every rule down to the flow of time, making him like a god within it. Likewise, Sailor Cosmos’s omniversal awareness, existence outside of linear time, and ability to freely move through different timelines and realities give her near-omnipotent power.
Jinwoo Is Insanely Powerful, but Sailor Cosmos Has the Advantage
Sailor Cosmos Is Incredibly Overpowered
Sung Jinwoo is undeniablyone of the most powerful modern anime characters. His transformation into the Shadow Monarch, mastery over death, and powers within the Territory of Eternal Rest are jaw-dropping. While he is within that space, he dictates reality itself; however, that control has limits as it’s confined to that realm alone.
His army, regeneration, strength, and speed ensure he remains a nearly unstoppable powerhouse, but outside that realm, Jinwoo’s influence becomes much less overwhelming. However, Sailor Cosmos has no such restrictions on maintaining her power. Her abilities are consistent across dimensions, timelines, and realities. Her power exists on a permanent, cosmic scale.
Unlike Jinwoo, whose omnipotence is limited to a particular realm, Sailor Cosmos is free to operate in a way he can’t match.
To add to the imbalance, Sailor Cosmo’s power is rooted in purity, light, and life, whereas Jinwoo’s power comes from his role as the Shadow Monarch. Against Jinwoo, it’s entirely possible that Sailor Cosmos could be his natural counter. If that were the case, Sailor Cosmos would have an even greater advantage on both a symbolic and functional level.
In a direct battle, Jinwoo would absolutely make her fight for every inch, but Sailor Cosmo’s scale of power, freedom from limitations, and powers stemming from Jinwoo’s natural opposites push her just beyond his reach. Unlike Jinwoo, whose omnipotence is limited to a particular realm, Sailor Cosmos is free to operate in a way he can’t match.
When it comes down to it, Sailor Cosmos is simply out of Jinwoo’s reach. While he would dominate in raw combat, he wouldn’t be able to overcome the Sailor Guardian’s omniversal influence. It would be an incredible fight, butSolo Leveling’shero is no match for the final incarnation ofSailor Moon’sheroine.
