Seth Rogen has revealed that he is in the process of getting the A-list star of one of the most successful action franchises of all time to appear in season 2 of his hit Apple TV+ comedy series,The Studio. Co-created by Rogen, creative partner Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory and Frida Perez, the series is in and of itself a satire of big-budget studios.
The Studioseason 1has proven to be a huge success,with the show earning 23 Primetime Emmy Award nominations in 2025, including for Outstanding Comedy Series. In addition to Rogen, the Apple TV+ comedy stars Catherine O’Hara, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, and Kathryn Hahn, as well as numerous celebrity guest stars.
During a recent interview withThe Hollywood Reporter,Rogen revealed that he had discussions with Vin Diesel, best known for starring in the belovedFast & Furiousfranchise, about appearing inThe Studioseason 2. This comes after Rogen’s prior mentions of wanting Diesel to appear on the show. When asked if he has since spoken with Diesel, Rogen said:
I sure did, I met him in real life! Now, we just have to come up with an idea for him. [Laughs] He did seem into it, he did seem pretty into it.
