Our Take On Anne Burrell’s Untimely Passing
Anne Was An Amazing Person
Anne was one of my favorite Food Network stars. I learned so much from her because she wasa phenomenal teacher onWorst Cooks in America. It was inspiring to watch her transform people who were disasters in the kitchen into cooks who could whip up restaurant-quality meals. She was a knowledgeable, patient, and loving teacher to all of the contestants.
Anne was also hilarious to watch as the leader of herWorst Cooks in AmericaRockin' Red Stars team, from her catchphrases such as,“Brown food tastes good!,“to drawing on contestants' fingers with red Sharpies when they held their knives incorrectly. She brought the perfect mix of entertainment and expertise to Food Network. I will miss Anne so much, butshe leaves behind a beautiful legacy.
