Splatoon 3has drawn the curtain on the chocolate Splatfest, and the results have now been revealed. Fans of dark, milk, and white chocolate battled it out over the weekend inSplatoon 3to determine a favorite among them, and the winner boasts impressive numbers.
Splatfests have been held since the firstSplatoon, allowing players to band together into teams to play turf war. The game has changed a bit over the years, with tri-color battles being the newest addition to the formula, but the ultimate goal has stayed the same; win as many battles for one’s team as possible.

This latest Splatfest was held between Dark, Milk, and White Chocolate teams. Leading into thechocolate Splatfest, White Chocolate already had a head start, bringing home the most points in the Sneak Peek week leading up to the Splatfest. Team White Chocolate was also leading the pack at halftime. Dark and Milk Chocolate teams worked hard, but in the end, White Chocolate ended up sweeping the entire match, bringing home the lead in every single category with a whopping 57 points.

This marks the second win for Deep Cut’s Big Man, who also took home thePokemonSplatfest representing Team Water. So far, Frye has only won one Splatfest, withTeam Sweet winning over Spicy and Sour, while Shiver won the first two Splatfests.
At the moment, it’s not known when the next Splatfest will be. The schedule has been a bit uneven sinceSplatoon 3’s release, withSplatfests no longer following a monthly schedule. With the current catalog season ending at the end of February, it’s possible that another Big Run may be announced, which could mean getting one every season. Thus far, Nintendo has refrained from holding a Big Run and a Splatfest in rapid succession with each other, so it may be a while until the next Splatfest is held.
So far, Nintendo has been maintaining a steady flow of content to fans, with new gear, emotes, and weapons. The latest Nintendo Direct also unveiledSplatoon 3’s Expansion Pass, which will bring players back to Inkopolis from the originalSplatoon, as well as adding a new story in its second wave.Splatoon 3doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, so players should have plenty to keep the experience fresh during its years of support.
