Star Wars’upcoming TV show,Star Wars: Visionsseason 3, will reveal brand-new survivors of Order 66, and while it will not be part ofthe canonStar Warstimeline, this revelation will no doubt prove fascinating. Although the aftermath of Order 66 inStar Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sithsuggested very few survivors, that has since changed.
Star Warsmovies and TV shows, as well as some canon video games, have increasingly added to the list ofJedi survivors of Order 66, with characters like Cal Kestis, Kanan Jarrus, Grogu, and many others. Now,Visionsseason 3 will dive even deeper, exploring what it looked like for surviving younglings to be lost after Order 66.

Star Wars: Visions Is About To Show Youngling Order 66 Survivors
At Star Wars Celebration 2025, for whichScreenRant’sMolly Brizzell was in attendance, details aboutVisionsseason 3 were announced, including specific episodes and story arcs. Among thereveals at Star Wars Celebrationwas the news that a new episode ofVisionswould be called"The Village Bride: The Lost Ones.”
The titular lost ones are in fact younglings who survived Order 66 but ultimately become lost or displaced as a result of this horrible attack. Interestingly, this does call to mind a somewhat similarly titled episode ofStar Wars: The Clone Wars,“Padawan Lost,“in which Ahsoka Tano and a group of younglings must survive and escape capture together.

Whether that link is intentional is currently unknown, but it does suggest what this episode ofVisionscould ultimately look like. This episode will also provide a unique look at the consequences of Order 66. To date, we’ve seen very few Padawans, let alone younglings, survive this massacre. Reva inObi-Wan Kenobiis one of those few.
How Would Jedi Younglings Survive Order 66?
As mentioned, we have seen some youngling survivors of Order 66 inStar Wars, such as Reva inObi-Wan Kenobi(although she ultimately became one ofthe Imperial Inquisitors) and even Grogu. However,we’ve not really seen what the immediate aftermath looked like for these characters in terms of their survival.
It will be fascinating to see not only how they survive the initial attack but also how these children manage to get by on their own in the wake of such a horrific event. One possibility has already been introduced in theStar Wars: Inquisitorscomic, which revealed additional Jedi Temples.
It therefore may very well be that these younglings were able to escape in time, although that still begs the compelling question: What did these younglings do once most of the Jedi were gone? No,Star Wars: Visionsseason 3 isn’t canon, but it will be exploring some truly intriguingStar Warsquestions and stories.
