Electronic Arts' latestStar Warsventure has been revealed asStar Wars Zero Company, a single-player turn-based tactics game set during the Clone Wars. There are severalupcomingStar Warsgames, many of which are from publishers other than EA now that its exclusive license with Disney has expired.Star Wars Zero Companywas technically already known about, albeit without a title or any sort of information prior to this announcement.
The announcement came via the officialStar Warswebsite, and has finally shed light onthe debut game from Bit Reactor, a studio formed under the purview of Greg Foertsch, who previously worked on Firaxis Games’XCOMseries.Star Wars Zero Companyis being developed in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment, whose pedigree in the franchise includesStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderand its sequel,Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. TheZero Companyreveal is exceedingly light on details, only offering a single piece of art showcasing six of the characters involved.

All told, the reveal ofStar Wars Zero Companyis little more than a teaser for upcoming information – likely a trailer.More information on the game is scheduled to arrive at aStar WarsCelebration Japan panel on June 13, 2025, though it will be very early in the morning for North America. The panel is set for 4:30pm Japan Standard Time, which is 3:30am EDT and 12:30am PDT.
According to theStar WarsCelebration panel schedule, Bit Reactor’s panel will last one hour, and will feature representatives from Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games as well. One hour is significant for the reveal of a newly announced game, so it’s likely plenty of new information will surface, especially sinceStar WarsCelebration is a major, three-day event.

These first two franchises are widely acclaimed within their principal genres, tactics and 4X respectively, but evenGears Tacticsis an excellent strategy game.
