Stranded Deepcan be a lonely experience, but this is not the case if players make use of the co-op features in the game. Surviving with a partner is generally much easier and more fun, but things can still go wrong at any moment. If a player goes down, it isn’t game over as it would be in a single-player game. Instead, it’s up to the surviving player to revive them so they can continue exploring the open ocean.

Unfortunately, there is no tutorial in thisbrutal survival gamethat tells players how to revive one another, as the game expects players to figure it out themselves. Something this important is worth knowing before getting started, though.

In a perfect world,Stranded Deepplayers would never need to revive one another because they would never go down. Unfortunately, between sharks, hunger, giant crabs, and evil squids, something is bound to take a player down sooner or later. When this does happen, the other player should be ready to jump into action and save the day.

How to Revive Someone in Stranded Deep

Reviving other players requires a bandage, an item that has multiple uses. Theprimary use of a bandage inStranded Deepis to cure bleedingcaused by a shark bite, and using it for this purpose will also restore two bars of health for the player. If players are able to hold onto their bandages, they can instead use them to revive their partner should they go down. To do so, hold the bandage like any other item, approach the fallen player, and hold the “E” button to use the bandage to revive them.

At present, bandages are the only item that can be used to revive other players, making them even more important in multiplayer games than they are in single-player games. Sincethere aren’t a lot of healing items inStranded Deep, it may be tempting to use a bandage as a healing method, but it’s best to keep at least one for reviving players. Bandages can be found in cabinets on shipwrecks or crafted by combining one cloth and one lashing at the Loom.

With bandages in hand, players should be able to keep their allies alive and kicking much longer. The materials required to make bandages are fairly easy to come by, so players shouldn’t have too much trouble keeping a supply of bandages to use for bothcuring bleeding after a shark attackand reviving their allies.

Stranded Deepis available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
