A New Demogorgon Is Coming To The Stranger Things Game

A Versatile, Iconic Creature

Welcome to the Hellfire Clubis beingdesigned with newD&Dplayers in mind.D&Dcertainly doesn’t have the most accessible entry point, and this game seems like it’s trying to please bothStranger Thingsfans andD&Dfans. After a previousStranger ThingsStarter Setjoined theD&Dlineup, this new game is more of a hybrid between a simpler board game and the classic tabletop RPG.

The menacing Demogorgon is both one of themajor antagonists ofStranger Thingsand a demon prince inD&D. Throughout the show, we have seen multiple variations of the creature, like its larval, pollywog, and demodog forms. Now, a new version of the iconic creature is coming toWelcome to the Hellfire Club, which could expand the lore a great deal.

Our Take: A New Demogorgon Is Exciting

The Demogorgon isvirtually everywhere nowadays, especially with the finalStranger Thingsseason on the horizon. TheDemogorgon made its way toDead by Daylighta few years ago (and was delisted and then brought back). It’s also mentioned in the classic epic poemParadise Lost, and has appeared in the popularBaldur’s Gateseries.

With the iconic creature so present, and withStranger Thingsbeing one of the most popular modern TV series, a new variation of the creature is probably quite exciting for fans. It remains to be seen what this new design looks like, what its lore will be, what powers it will have, and if it eventually appears in the TV show or additionalStranger Thingsmedia.
