The 2016 indie shooter hitSuperhotis out now on Nintendo Switch. At Nintendo’s Gamescom Indie World Showcase, a new trailer was shown and the game was announced as out on the Nintendo eShop today.

Superhotis a first-person shooter with a unique hook and striking art style. Time only moves when you move, makingSuperhota puzzle game about dodging bullets in slow motion and finding the best way to take out your enemies. It’s over-the-top, calculated action that has a trippy story that’s actually worth seeing all the way through. The game received a great VR spinoff that was its own unique game and was released toPlayStation VRin late 2016, but no word on if the Switch will ever get a version that supports Labo VR.

The trailer shows the trademark gameplay ofSuperhotbefore slowly zooming out to show us that yes, this is coming to Switch. The virtual movement of the Switch confirms a new way to play by using the console’s gyroscope while playing in handheld mode, a not uncommon addition when it comes topopular Switch ports. With gyroscope controls, players can dodge, aim, and more without having to put their fingers on the control stick.

It’s been a super busy week forSuperhot. The game was rumored to be getting a Switch release just this week, so the timing here makes perfect sense. And that’s not all.Superhotwas announced for Stadia today at the Stadia Connect event at Gamescom. The full original game is coming to Google Stadia, along with the inclusion of expansion,Mind Control Delete.The standalone expansion is currently in Early Access on Steam and has been since December 2017.Superhot: Mind Control Deleteeschews the structure of the original and turns the mechanics into a roguelike featuring new enemies and abilities that were not present in the original.
