HGTVfans were stunned to learn that some of their favorite home and garden reality shows wouldn’t be returning for another season after the network announced a shocking slate of cancelations this week.Even long-running shows got the axe, and there’s still a lot of mystery surrounding the fates of other HGTV shows.

HGTV is the home of reality shows about interior design, house-flipping, home renovations, and more. Celebrities like Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa, as well as formerTeen Momstar Chelsea DeBoer and New Kids On The Block singer Jonathan Knight, have all had shows on HGTV, but after the news of cancelations,some fan favorites are not returning.

Bargain BlockstarKeith Bynamannounced in an Instagram post that HGTV had canceled his show, which had been on the air since 2021. In Keith’s post, he threw shade at HGTV producers. TheBargain Blockreality starsaid:

“Though you may not be seeing us for much longer on HGTV, we’re excited that we’ve built such an amazing base of followers… Everyone always told us TV is a fickle world and they are very right.”

Among HGTV’s casualties isMarried To Real Estate, which has been on the air since 2022. Husband-and-wife duoEgypt Sharodand Mike Jackson shared a joint Instagram post announcing that their show wouldn’t be returning for another season.

In their post, they also seemingly shaded the network, saying, “While the chain of events leading up to this is disheartening, we are deeply grateful. Grateful for four incredible seasons. Grateful for our amazing crew and supportive fans.”

The couple promised they’d share more details soon, and then wrote that they were viewing this step back as a blessing. “Not all setbacks are what they seem,” they said. “Some blessings show up in disguise.”

Izzy Does ItstarIzzy Battresrevealed in an Instagram comment on a recent post that his show would not be returning to HGTV. In response to a fan’s question about the show, Izzy said, “We won’t be returning for another season, but the support, the messages, the love—it’s all meant the world!”

New Kids On The Block singer Jonathan Knight has had his show on HGTV,Farmhouse Fixer, since 2021. On the show, he and designer Kristina Crestin renovated farmhouses on the East Coast, something Jonathan has been passionate about.

InJonathan’s Instagram post announcing the cancelation, he wrote that he was in Las Vegas with New Kids On The Block for their residency when he received word that “HGTV has decided not to move forward with another season.” He also said he was “still processing” the news, but hethanked fans for their supportthroughout the years.

Fate Of Some HGTV Shows Unclear

The fate of several other popular HGTV shows is also in question, as shows likeDown Home Fab, starringformerTeen MomChelseaand husband Cole DeBoer,Luxe For Less,Unsellable Houses,No Demo Reno, andCastle Impossiblehave not been announced for renewal, according toTV Insider.

Perhaps one of the biggest names to come out of HGTV is Christina Haack, who has had several real estate-centered shows on the network.Christina In The Countrywas canceled back in January. Christina and former husband Tarek El Moussa currently appear onThe Flip Offtogether, but a season 2 has not been announced.

There’s also no word on another Christina show,Christina On The Coast, and whether it will return as well.

TV Insiderreported that the fate of these shows seems secure for now:Home Town,Fixer To Fabulous,Help! I Wrecked My House, and100 Day Dream Homeare all reportedly still in production.
