Summary

Motorola is officially unveiling the Moto Edge 2025 with some significant upgrades for the Edge series. This latest iteration brings minimal refinements to the design and an additional camera on the back, but Motorola is keeping the price low.

The biggest change over theEdge 2024is the new camera system. Unlike its predecessor, the Moto Edge 2025 now features a triple-camera setup on the rear. This upgrade is clearly visible with a much larger camera module and an LED flash that appears to be a fourth camera at first glance. The main camera is 50MP, and it’s joined by a 50MP ultrawide and a 10MP 3X telephoto camera. Plus, the front-facing camera has been upgraded to 50MP as well. The faux leather back panel sports a Pantone Deep Forrest green color.

From the front, the Moto Edge 2025 maintains a very familiar design to last year’s model. It retains the same quad-curved display with a centered punch-hole selfie camera. The power and volume buttons are located on the right side, and the Quick Button makes a return on the left side. Well, kinda. In the past, this button allowed for programmable custom shortcuts, but now it’s the “AI Key” and it’s locked to Moto AI like on theMoto Razr Ultra.

Other specs for the Moto Edge 2025 include a 6.7-inch pOLED display with 2712 x 1220 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device also features “IP68/IP69” water and dust resistance and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Durability is one of the big things Motorola is pushing with this phone. Powering your day will be a decent 5,200mAh battery, supported by rapid 68W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 and 8GB of RAM.

The new Moto Edge 2025 will be available unlocked in the US, starting June 5th at Best Buy, Amazon.com, and motorola.com, with a price of $549.99. Additionally, the device will be available through carriers such as T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Total Wireless, Visible, Spectrum, and Xfinity Mobile in the coming months, with pricing varying by carrier. In Canada, the Edge 2025 will be available on motorola.ca starting June 5th, followed by availability at select carriers and national retailers.
