Two of April’s Xbox Games with Gold are now available for download one day early. Interested players can grab the Xbox One gameVikings: Wolves of Midgardand the Xbox 360 titleDark Voidright now.

There are four total titles this April, the two aforementioned games as well asTruck Racing ChampionshipandHard Corps: Uprising. Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, an action RPG, is available to download now until April 30 whileDark Void, a third-person shooter, is only available until the 15th of this month. The other two games open up for availability on April 16th withTruck RacingChampionshipextending until May 15th while run and gun game,Hard Corps: Uprising, is available until April 30. Without Gold or Game Pass these games vary in price from $14.99 to $59.99.
Games with Gold is a relatively good opportunity for anyone that wants to expand their game library and try titles that may not have been on their radar before. Unfortunately, this month’s offering is a mixed bag. There aren’t any huge names on this month’s list but rather some interesting titles in their respective genres.Racing fanshaveTruck Racing Championship, shooter fans haveHard Corps: UprisingandDark Void, while RPG fans haveVikings: Wolves of Midgard.
At the end of the day it boils down to personal preference and if those genres aren’t interesting then this month’s Games with Gold doesn’t offer too much. The option to download games and keep them is nice when it comes to Games with Gold but the options aren’toften up to par for players. It is a great chance to fill out a player’s library but not always the best choice for grabbing major titles or critically acclaimed work.
