Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Editionhas officially hit the shelves andGrand Theft Autofans everywhere have a chance to enjoy three of the series' most classic titles. However, this intense focus also means that fans have an even higher chance to spot something going horribly - or hilariously - wrong. One fan ofGrand Theft Auto San Andreasrecently experienced what may be the funniest way for a mission to end.

InGrand Theft Auto San Andreas, players take on therole of Carl “CJ” Johnson, a former gangbanger who is plunged back into the criminal life after being framed for the murder of a police officer. CJ spends most of the game representing the Grove Street Families alongside his estranged older brother Sean “Sweet” Johnson. This means that more than a few missions end with the two brothers in the same scene, even before the pair reconcile.

As Redditor CM2K00 discovered, this means that sometimes,Grand Theft Auto San Andreasplayers can encounter unexpected scenes when the game’s open-world and cutscenes collide. CM2K00 had just finished a mission and was watching CJ and Sweet finish up their handshake. The moment Sweet turned to walk away, acar crashed straight into himand sent him flying across the screen. CJ was also clipped by the car, but unlike his brother, he was barely budged by the impact.

The mission completion text continued to play without Sweet, giving CJ $200 and more respect. However, Sweet’s absence is notable and continues even after the interrupted cutscene is over. Both he and the car that hit him appear to have continued moving after they clipped past CJ, leaving CJ standing alone in the neighborhood.

It appears that otherGrand Theft Auto San Andreasfansfind this bizarre incident funny as well. One user immediately declared that another character, Lancer “Ryder” Wilson, was making his betrayal earlier than usual. Another noted that someone had stolen Ryder’s car and driven it into Sweet–or, as a third user theorized, kidnapped him.

A fourth user stated that this programming hiccup had never happened to them, but they kinda wanted it to. Several other users claimed that this video led to them breaking out in laughter or replied by calling the events of the clip just another day in the hood. One might wonder if the rest of the game will acknowledge that Sweet was hit by a car.
