It’s no secret what makes Eevee so popular; the Pokémon itself is absolutely adorable, and in recent years has become something like a second mascot after Pikachu, perhaps most notably with theLet’s Go, Pikachu!andLet’s Go, Eevee!games. Eevee’s absolute versatility, with a record-setting 8 potential evolutions, also makes it a popular choice for players of the games, and Eevee has often had a major role in the anime, such as Serena’s Eevee inXY, Lana’s Eevee, Sandy, inSun & Moon, or Chloe’s Eevee inJourneys. Fans who’ve longed to own a real Eevee or its evolution are in luck, as these life-size plushies are the next best thing.

Following on from the other life-size Pokémon being released recently, such as Gardevoir, the Eevee family are up next, and the merchandise photos couldn’t be more adorable.About the size of a large dog (90-110 cm, or about 3-3.5 ft), these plushes are absolutely massive–with the exception of Eevee itself, of course, which is considerably smaller than its evolutions (36 cm, or 14 in). The detail and quality of the plushes seems extremely high, matching with reports of previous life-sized Pokémon plushes.
Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, and Eevee are already for sale starting June 15, 2025, and orders will be taken through July 31, 2025. Umbreon and Espeon will go on sale in May, while Glaceon, Leafeon, and Sylveon will debut in June. For the original trio and Eevee, fans who make the purchase (44,000 Yen, or about US $308; Eevee is a mere US $27) can expect the plushes to ship in November, while shipping dates for the others have not been revealed. Unfortunately, orders are currently limited to Japan through the Pokémon Center stores, and are strictly limited to 1 of each per customer.

The Fan Favorites Are the Latest in a Trend of Life-Size Pokémon
The last release in this line oflife-size Pokémon plushes, Gardevoir, also made big waves, and was exceptionally popular. Gardevoir was preceded by other Pokémon of various kinds, including Larvesta, Altaria, Porygon, and Lucario. The one hilarious exception on the list of life-sized plushes to be released is Wailord, which is only 1/10th scale, as a true-to-life version would be far too big for anyone’s home.
While no further life-sized plushes have been revealed at the moment, the extreme popularity of these dolls ensures that the line will continue on. It’s hard to imagine what would be able to top the Eeveelutions in terms of fan excitement, however. Perhaps the popularity of the line in Japan will help to bring these incredible life-sizePokémonplushes to fans around the world.
