The Zodiac Wheel consists of 12 Signs.Each Sign comes with unique qualities and defining characteristics that make it stand out from its fellow Signs.While some Signs share traits with one another, no two are identical, making it fun to see which character from a particular series aligns with one trait or another. The characters inMy Hero Academiaalign very closely with the Zodiac Traits, making it seem like they were almost designed with these traits in mind from the beginning.
Each Zodiac Sign takes up about 30 days of the year, and their position within the Wheel has a lot to do with their traits as well. There are four groups within the Zodiac Wheel that further define the group: Fire Signs, Earth Signs, Air Signs, and Water Signs. Each element has three Signs within it, and some elements are more (or less) compatible with others.
12Aries - Katsuki Bakugo (Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight)
March 21 – April 19
Aries is the first Sign in the Zodiac Wheel and the boldest of the bunch. It’s a Sign that loves diving head first into whatever is in front of it, acting first and asking questions later. Aries are characterized by their competitive nature, courage, and ability to adapt to hardship better than most.
While there are a ton of brave characters inMy Hero Academia,no character is as willing to dive straight into a conflict quite like Katsuki Bakugo.Kacchan, as he’s known to his friends, is as explosive as they get, and that’s not even mentioninghis amazingly powerful Quirk.
11Taurus - Shota Aizawa (Eraserhead)
April 20 – May 20
There is no Sign that likes relaxing more than Tauruses. Those born under the Sign of the Bull love to sit back, hang out, and chill. They’re calm characters who enjoy taking a day off more than most, but that doesn’t mean that they’re pushovers.
Shota Aizawa, better known by his hero name Eraserhead, was first introduced while he was asleep in his sleeping bag.He’s no stranger to kicking back and relaxing,and he isn’t afraid to let everyone know just how much he loves it.
10Gemini - Toshinori Yagi (All Might)
May 21 – June 20
Geminis are one of the most interesting Signs. They’re characterized by duality, twins, and a multifaceted nature. They aren’t necessarily two-faced, but they can be, as Geminis almost always exist on both sides of the coin.
Toshinori Yagi, better known as All Might, is about as multifaceted as it gets.As All Might, he’s humanity’s Symbol of Peace, protecting the world from the strongest villains inMy Hero Academia.After passing his Quirk onto Midoriya, he became a teacher, a mentor, and an overall much more normal person.
9Cancer - Enji Todoroki (Endeavor)
June 21 – July 22
Those born under the Cancer Sign are represented by a crab, and it’s easy to see why. They have an incredibly hard exterior, but on the inside, they’re soft as can be. They’re smart, intuitive, and protective of themselves and their loved ones.
While Cancer is a Water Sign, no character inMy Hero Academiais a better depiction of this Sign than the Number One-ranked hero, Endeavor.Enji Todoroki is a tough, brooding man, but under his tough exterior, he cares deeply about his kids, his wife, and even Bakugo and Midoriya.
8Leo - Mirio Togata (Lemillion)
July 23 – August 22
Leo’s are bright, noble, and regal. When they walk into a room, everyone takes a look, and that’s exactly what a Leo wants. They’re fiery Fire Signs that love being theatrical as much as they love the attention that comes along with it.
Mirio Togata, hero name Lemillion, is loud, boisterous, andthe perfect character inMy Hero Academiato be represented by the Leo Sign.He’s a loyal friend, a reliable ally, and one ofthe strongest characters inMy Hero Academiaeven before the end of the series.
7Virgo - Momo Yaoyorozu (Creati)
August 23 – September 22
Virgos are some of the most practical people around. When they want to get something done, they don’t just dream and wonder how to go about it. They sit down, come up with a plan, and execute it purposefully.
Momo Yaoyorozu, hero name Creati, is a true Virgo in this aspect. She’s one of the smartest kids inMy Hero Academiastrategically, and it’s her plans that have brought down nearly unstoppable villains.She’s always one step ahead of her opponents, and that’s not an accident.
6Libra - Tenya Ida (Ingenium)
September 23 – October 22
Libras are concerned with justice and not much else. They’re constantly trying to do the right thing, focusing on fairness and equality.They’re straightforward, relatively predicatable people, and that makes them honest and reliable.
Libras are the only Sign to be represented by an inanimate object: The Libra Scale.
Tenya Ida, known as Ingenium, is the class representative ofMy Hero Academia’sClass 1-A and the first person to try and do the right thing. Another character that could be considered a Libra is the Hero-Killer, Stain, but Stain’s idea of justice is much darker than a normal Libra’s.
5Scorpio - Shoto Todoroki
October 23 – November 21
Nobody really knows what’s going on in a Scorpio’s head. They’re elusive, mysterious, and honestly, they’re not even trying to be. They’re doing their own thing andaren’t too worried about much else, making them about as unpredictable as possible.
Shoto Todoroki, son of Endeavor, is the perfect example of a Scorpio inMy Hero Academia.He’s a soft-spoken, hard-hitting character who isn’t one to speak his mind often. That doesn’t mean he’s weak-willed, as Shoto is usually one of the first people to jump into a fight when he’s needed.
4Sagittarius - Iwao Oguro (Knuckleduster)
November 22 – December 21
There are a lot of different ways to describe Sagittariuses. They’re hilarious, curious, optimistic, and one of the most adventurous Signs out there. They’re known to be blunt, which can come across in a negative light, but to a Sag, they’re just calling it how they see it.
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’Iwao Oguro, better known by his vigilante name Knuckleduster, is a perfect Sagittarius.He’s effortlessly funny, almost too curious for his own good, and goes wherever he pleases.He’s one of the strongest characters in the series, and he might not even have a Quirk. He loves learning new things and there’s no character in the series that can truly put a stop to him.
3Capricorn - Keigo Takami (Hawks)
December 22 – January 19
Capricorns are patient, dedicated, and focused. When they have their sights set on a goal, there isn’t much that can come between them and accomplishing it.They’ll do whatever it takes to get a job done, even if it means waiting for years.
Keigo Takami, known as Hawks, might be the most patient character inMy Hero Academia.He went undercover for a long time and only revealed himself at the right moments, showing how dedicated he was to saving civilians and making sure he was doing the right thing.
