“The dramatic beauty of the tragedy of the season, and the oddly emotionally, satisfying, exciting thing about that conclusion, is that good guys lost. Matt Murdock lost. Fisk won. But in those final moments, you understand just enough that despite the fact that they are few who are not people who are known, the only one in that costume is DD. And there’s something beautiful about them just being like, ‘yeah we lost, there’s not a lot of hope, but we’re gonna have the grit to say f*ck it and keep going.’ There’s something so satisfying about that. And if you had had a bunch of superheroes show up, it almost gives so much hope. That’s no longer about the grit and the uncertainty and going forth and just doing it even though you know you might lose, even though you’re probably gonna lose.”

If Daredevil receives help from other heroes that easily and quickly,Daredevil: Born Againseason 2’s stakeswouldn’t be as high.
