This feature will allow players to obtain all sorts of different cosmetics, and it will finally open up previously unobtainable cosmetics to the masses.
This new form of content will seemingly changeWorld of Warcraftforever. Not only will players be able to obtain previous promotional cosmetics, but the Trading Post will also introduce a path to earn cosmetics from the in-game store as well as never-before-seen items. This will give players a reason to come back every month and will be a nice treat for completionists who want every piece of trransmog that they can get their hands on.

The New Trading Post Explained
The Trading Post will serve as a new type of content that will hopefully persist across expansion packs. These posts will offer a monthly rotating catalog ofcosmetics that players can purchase for their characters, These cosmetics will come in the form of toys, pets, transmog, and new mounts. They will be made up of past promotional items, in-game store items, and many never-before-seen cosmetics. The best part about the entire feature is that players will earn currency for this store just by playing the game.
The Trading Post will introduce a brand-new currency type called Trader’s Tender. Every month, activeWorld of Warcraftaccounts in good standing will automatically be granted 500 Tender. Players can then earn more Tender by doing various activities from the new Traveler’s Log. These activities range from resurrecting players and participating in holiday events to simply doing fun activities likeshowing love to the Dragon Aspects. The idea is that players do not have to change how they play the game, and they will just get rewarded with a new currency as they play.
The Trading Post’s catalog will rotate every month which will give players a reason to constantly visit it. Items that have been rotated out will eventually be rotated back in. Players can choose an item to not rotate out if they do not have the required amount of Tender but really need the item. Blizzard says thatplayers can expect the unexpectedwhen it comes to this new Trading Post feature, and most of the playerbase seems to be very excited to see this feature play out.

The Trading Post feature is a very unexpected addition toWorld of Warcraft, and it feels like it will be a game changer. The biggest draw of the Trading Post is the fact that past promotional items and store cosmetics will be offered through it. This comes fresh off the heels of Blizzard offering somesought after cosmetics as Twitch drops, and this new Trading Post further opens up past items to the masses. It also gives players a way to obtain store cosmetics without paying real money for them, and that is always a win.
The Trading Post will also offer never-before-seen cosmetics not tied down by the current expansion. TheWorld of Warcraftfiles are filled with cosmetic items that have never been used asthe content was either cutor Blizzard never found a place to include them, but the Trading Post could give Blizzard an outlet for these items. Finally, players may be able to obtain armor sets and weapon transmogs that have been tempting them for years, and all they have to do is play the game.
