Today, the official Xbox Twitter account publicly expressed an interest in seeing players create Microsoft’s next-gen consoles inMinecraft.
Minecraftplayers are known for being creative, and a large amount of them spend their time exploring the open world, crafting, and building anything their hearts desire. Although the blocky pixel textures may strike some as being simplistic, they has facilitated some great builds. To some more experienced or intensive builders, the modular Xbox Series X/S would be comparatively easy.

Although the Xbox official Twitter didn’t issue an official challenge, it did say it would be “pretty cool” if aMinecraftplayer builtthe Xbox Series X/S. The tweet isn’t clear if it meant a giant, intricately-styled console with enough detail to look like the actual thing, or a smaller, simpler version of the Xbox Series X/S. Given this isMinecraft, many players are likely to think outside the box and put their own creative spins on builds.
The tweet has gotten over 13,000 likes as of writing, but some commentators reacted with boredom or annoyance to Microsoft’s challenge. Some were limited to a single emoji or word showing that they found the comment funny, while a fair amount of people responded by saying they wished the challenge were anofficial Xbox competition.
Many of these comments asked if Microsoft would be willing to give out free Xbox consoles if players were to build the next-gen devices, and although the tweet didn’t follow up with any details to this effect it looks like a lot of people were thinking along these lines. Microsoft has given away free consoles in competitions before, with one big marketing push giving some players afree Xbox Series X for eating at Taco Bell. However, thisMinecraftoffer looks like it was more of a casual comment from whomever runs the Xbox account, not an official hint at an upcoming competition.
