Players on either PC or Xbox One currently have one of the best options for a wide gameplay experience through theXbox Game Pass, thanks in part to the massive list of games available with the subscription. However, as the service is continuing to expand thelibrary of games on Game Pass, an extra perk may be huge for the system’s multimedia capabilities, especially for anime fans.

This isn’t the first time that Funimation has partnered with gaming services, as Sony’sPlayStation Plus offered Premium Plusfor two months as well in May and June of this year. Similar to the current Xbox Game Pass perk, there was a limited time to redeem the subscription service, and it was also only available for new account holders. However, the Sony collaboration ended in June, meaning that PS Plus players can’t redeem the free two months, while Xbox players do still have time to jump on the chance to access Funimation’s full catalogue of anime.
Considering not only the huge list of anime available, but also the exclusive access topopular series likeMy Hero Acadamia, this perk is just one more incentive for Xbox players to pick up Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The growing subscription service is quickly becoming an even more impressive deal for anyone looking to jump on the newest games on Xbox One and in the future for Xbox Series X. It remains to be seen if Microsoft is still looking to push the multimedia experience of their consoles through Game Pass in the future, but a limited subscription to Funimation may be a decent start.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimateis available on Mobile, PC, and Xbox One.
