InNCIS: Origins, Macy reveals she wants to be a JAG officer. However, through Lala’s encouragement, she becomes anNCISagent instead. Following her appearance in theNCISprequel, Macy eventually joinsNCIS: Los Angeles. It is not entirely clear what happened in the years immediately after her time onNCIS: Origins, but she stays in the military, and at some point,Macy finds herself as the head of the Office of Special Projects inNCIS: Los Angeles, showing that her career greatly expanded after her investigation into Gibbs, even though nothing came of it.
